Big Ben
Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the striking clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London; the name is frequently extended to refer to both the clock and the clock tower.
However whilst it will always be known as Big Ben due to the clock to both Londoners and visitors alike the clock tower itself was originally simply known as The Clock Tower within the Palace of Westminster , and during Queen Victorias reign and beyond as St Stephens Tower , the tower structure itself was in 2012 renamed to the Elizabeth Tower in recognition of Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee.

Kensington Gardens themselves are open to the public 365 days a year from 6am with various closing times which normally correspond to when it starts to get dark and sections of the Palace such as Kings and Queens state rooms and the sunken garden where the recent addition of the statue of Lady Diana Princess of Wales is located is open to the public at certain times and information can be obtained via the link
