It is a legal requirement under the Immigration (hotel records) Order 1972 that all guests over the age of 16 complete a Guest Registration form when checking in to a hotel. Each person staying at the hotel over the age of 16 must complete a form (not one form for all staying but one for each person staying) and if not, a UK passport holder must also provide their ID card or Passport Details. If you would like to do this in advance then please follow the link to do so it also saves you time on checking in , or you can fill out a paper registration form version at the hotel if you prefer

To confirm these forms are a legal requirement, are held securely for the 12-month period required in law and then destroyed after that time. They would only ever be shown on request to a warranted Police Officer or a person acting for the Secretary of State with good reason. All data is held in compliance with The Data Protection Act 2018 (the UK's implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) )

The hotel is registered with the Data Commissioner, a copy of the Registration Number and certificate is available on our GDPR page on this site
